Function: Provide more mounting options for the devices that you want to put inside the XL Watertight Enclosure (Model: EKM-303015). Without the plate you are limited to the few places that the DIN rail can be mounted. With the plate you can mount the DIN rail onto the plate in the best location for your needs.
